
The candidate for Minister of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), Yasmín Esquivel Mossa, stated that the transformation of the Judiciary aims not only to improve the administration of justice but also to promote economic development in the country. During a meeting with entrepreneurs from the Business Coordinating Council of the State of Hidalgo, she explained that the new judicial model seeks to expedite processes and adapt them to the current demands of Mexico.
"Without legal certainty, there is no development," emphasized Esquivel Mossa while highlighting the importance of having a transparent, impartial, and efficient judicial system for both small and large companies. She acknowledged the business sector as essential for building a prosperous country and emphasized the need to provide them with guarantees of security and legal certainty.
The candidate also outlined the different stages of the judicial election process that will culminate in the voting next Sunday, June 1. In Hidalgo, there are 30 positions to be filled, with a total of 184 candidates competing for them. Esquivel Mossa expressed her desire to remain in the SCJN to contribute to strengthening the rule of law, improving the administration of justice, and ensuring legal certainty for those investing in the development of Mexico.
